Using a warm, interactive and practical approach, she has assisted hundreds of couples to form a closer connection, to revitalize their sexual life and to improve their communication skills. Dr. Jaffrey believes that everyone is capable of having a great sex life regardless of how long they have been married (or in a committed relationship). “We need to be proactive and educate ourselves to create happy families,” she says. Dr. Bea Jaffrey is also a wife and a mother of six children and six Chihuahuas. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and several Swiss associations.

Amazing, sensitive and fun!

Whether you are just starting a relationship or looking to reignite your love life, this is the book for you. Definitely a great book for a man to read. Dr. Bea gives it to you straight. It sure taught me a thing or two. Like most men, I didn't think this book would teach me anything, but it can make a big difference in a relationship. This book has completely changed my thinking. I am amazed by how well Dr. Bea understands a man’s perspective. Gives an honest view on the importance of the sexual relationship for a couple. Relevant and realistic. Good read for both husbands and wives. I highly recommend this book for any couple that is looking to improve their intimacy. I now see just how important sex is in a marriage and after following her advice, I have experienced just how much better it can be. Dr. Bea focuses on how to communicate so everyone's needs are met. The writing is upfront and Dr. Bea has a fun way of presenting the information. She also tuned me in to understanding what my wife is thinking. My wife is reading the book now. I can't say enough good about Dr. Bea’s book. Good for people who have trouble enjoying sex as a natural and healthy part of a marriage. Well written. A book that emphasizes the value and importance the physical connection has in a marriage.

The Bible of the Spelljammer campaign

Spelljammer was probably the most interesting of all of the campaigns created for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd edition). The basic idea behind Spelljammer was that each world existed within a crystal sphere, and that the crystal spheres bobbed in an ocean of light, called the Phlogiston. Spelljamming is the act of taking a ship through space (called Wildspace), through the Phlogiston, and on to other crystal spheres.

OK, that sounds more like science fiction than fantasy, right? Well, the Spelljammer universe is one of magic and monsters, swords and high adventure. Indeed, if you really want to get a feel for the potential of this fascinating campaign, read the wonderful Cloakmaster books.

Anyway, if you want to get a good feel for the mechanics of the Spelljammer universe, then get the Concordance of Arcane Space. It covers everything about the Spelljammer universe from planets, crystal spheres, Wildspace and the Phlogiston, to Spelljamming ships (their creation, use and combat of), and the use of magic in this campaign. Along the way, the reader is treated to many highly informative sidebars.

So, if you are interested in Spelljammer, then you really must get this book – it’s the Bible of the Spelljammer campaign. This is an excellent resource, and a just plain fun read. I highly recommend this book!

Best information on psychokinesis!

If you want to understand psychokinesis/telekinesis and how to develop your own skills, then Psychokinesis The way of the Psion, is the book to get. This book does not waste your time with a lot of fluff. There are exercises and examples, which are clear and easy to follow, as well as demonstrations to be found on online. What I enjoyed most, is that it reads like a peek into a personal journal. This is an honest account of someones spiritual journey, and I was surprised by how much of myself I saw in this story. If you are interested in this phenomenon, and you're willing to put some training time in; then I say from experience that you can learn this:)

It has a lot of information on how to do psychokinesis. It is written by a guy that has actually tried to do it himself. Too many others are written by skeptics who haven't done anything like this and can't tell you how. This guy knows what he is talking about.

A Book that Adds Value to every diamond business or enthusiast. Easy to read and understand!

I strain for descriptive words when it comes to Nizam's work in this book.
When I first read Rough Diamonds, A Practical Guide-First Edition by the same author I thought that he had covered all there was about rough diamonds. I had no clue he was silently chiseling the Second and well lit Edition. The clear and accessible explanations in this book reflect a product of enthusiastic effort and infinite labor. In enlarging and adding new photos and photomicrographs, the author carefully reveals the kind of detail that has for so long been a reserve for the elite in this industry. The book that carries the author's signature voice is as reassuring as it is empowering, because not only does it reveal the rough diamond's attributes but helps the reader to build an integral approach to viewing a rough with the finished product value in mind. Here the author lays a strong foundation for the students of diamond valuation, sorting and diamond finishing. In explaining the Kimberly Process, the author arms the reader with a very important point by point knowledge base in the industry which most buyers are not aware of. I recommend brokers and those interested in buying and shipping rough diamonds to read this section carefully to avoid costly mistakes that many would be buyers fall into. Combining the knowledge covered in this book with specialized training is my humble but necessary recommendation.

Fantastic!

A little lie helps Megan find a "Man to Do." One leg in a brace from a long ago car accident, she feels like it keeps people from looking at her twice. Enter the lie: she decides to have a friend put her bad leg in a cast, then goes on vacation to a ski lodge and says she has a broken leg! On the very first night, Luke Webster notices.
A hot game of truth or dare has Luke asking for a second encounter, then another...and another! His reaction to Megan's leg (when he finds out that it's permanent, and that she lied) is very real, and we see his true personality...not just the playboy and the lover. He's very sweet and considerate, and not half as selfish as he believes himself to be; he just doesn't think his problems through. Luckily, he has a friend with a lot of common sense to keep him from acting like such a man! :-)
The couple is very real-life. Megan is bright and sassy, down-to-earth, and adventurous. Luke - well, he's your typical playboy - with a practical side. There are no akward moments, and author Jo Leigh carries the story of with such aplomb, I forgot that I wasn't watching it as a movie! The chemistry is perfect, and their story is enduring; you know they're going to have problems in the future, but you also know they'll get through them.
My first book by Jo Leigh; bet I'll be getting more!

GREAT JUMP START ENOUGH FOR A PARIS VACATION :)

Great little book, has all the basics with pronounciation!!! (major handicap with other books). easy to follow. perfect tool to help you communicate and get yourself understood, so you can enjoy the country without an interpreter. If your kids are of age where they understand english, they can pick up french as well from this one 15 minutes before going to bed, and french vacation here we come! (my book didn't have the cd so I used pimsleur cds after this book to get my speed up and understand natives. worked like a charm. Will not become fluent but will feel comfortable and be able to get around and get what you want. (trick with the french, always say hello and be polite..they will be the nicest people you have ever met!!!)

This a great tool for the french language beginner

This a great tool for the french language beginner. I found it valuable and fun to learn with. The layout of the book is very user-friendly so you can just go right along without thinking about anything but the french itself. I wish they also had in intermediate level as a follow-up!
